Anton Martynov

Born in Moscow, Anton Martynov is a student of Elena Malmina, Vladimir Spivacov, and Valentin Berlinsky in Gnessin School and Academy, later of Dora Schwarzberg in Brescia and of Gigino Maestri in Milan Conservatory. Winner of the Stresa International Competition, he is solo violin of the Musiciens du Louvre under Mark Minkoswki. He is a member of Anton String Quartet in Paris during seven years, recording several CDs with this group and broadcasting in France, Germany and Switzerland.

His chamber music partners are Elena Rozanova, Boris Berezovski, Oleg Marshev, Dionysis Grammenos, David Guerrier, Boris Andrianov, Benoit Fromanger. He forms Ligeti String Trio with Diana Ligeti and Daniel Vagner since 2009. He is a founder of the Rive Gauche Musique Chamber Music Season in Paris since 2009.
