Magda Mavrogianni, actress (Greece)

Magda was born in Athens. She has studied piano at the National Conservatory of Athens, at the Ecole Normale and Conservatory of Drama in Paris and followed masterclasses with T. Suzuki in New York. Her career started in France with the film "Celles qu'on a pas eu" de Pascal Thomas and since then she has performed at the National Theater of Chaillot in Paris with Antoine Vittez, has acted in Greece, France and Switzerland and worked as producer with Greek Radio. She has translated many theatrical pieces and she teaches piano at the National Conservatory of Athens.

Magda has created the Theatrical Company "Axia" and produced her own plays Sakura, Black Story, Adam and Halima, and The twins. She has also created the "Classical Music Box", a series that combine drama with classical music, and she has presented many titles both in Greece and in France, such as Alma Mahler, The Sonate of Croitser, Nelly, Carmen, Clara Schumman, Mozart, George Sande , Anna Magdalena Bach, Cozima Wagner, Immortal Beloved, Frida Cahlau, among others..
