Paola Kondakci

Paola Kondakci begins piano at the age of 5 under the supervision of her mother Shpresa Kondakci. At the age of 6 she gives her first concert. 1994 – 1995, she earns a scholarship from the American Center of Culture of Albania and continues her studies in USA. During the duration of her studies there she gives a number of recitals in cities such as: Detroit, San Diego, Orange County, National City, etc., and earning several prizes at the competitions in which takes part: 1st prize at “Bach Festival”, 1st prize “Branch Honors Festival”, 3rd prize at “La Jolla Symphony and Chorus Competition for Young Artists”, finalist at the competition organized by the “Music Teacher’s Association of California”, finalist at “San Diego Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Concerto Competition.

Continues her studies at the Academy of Arts of Tirana and during her studies there 1996-2000 she wins the 2nd prize at the first National Competition "Frederyck Chopin", and the 1st Prize at the First National Competition of French Music. Continues her career giving many concerts as a soloist and member of several groups of Chamber Music, in Albania, Greece, Italy, Syria. She graduates from the Academy of Arts of Tirana at the year 2000 with a Golden Medal.

From 2000-2002 worked as piano teacher at several conservatoires of Northern Greece. At 2001 gives a concert at the Hall of Music of Salonica. 2002 – 2003, continues her studies and career in Paris, France, at the École Normale de Musique de Paris “Alfred Cortot” receiving the Diplôme Supérieur de Musique de Chambre and 2nd price at the competition of Déchiffrage.

From 2003 she worked at the New Conservatory of Salonika as a piano teacher, dechiffrage teacher and as a correpetiteur giving many concerts in several Halls and Theaters in Salonika. From 2006 she starts working at the Conservatory of Athens and at the Orfio Conservatory of Athens, as an accompanist and continues her career giving many concerts as a soloist and a Chamber Music member at several Halls and Theaters of the Region of Attica.
