Greetings from the Secretary General of the G.N.T.O.

The Cyclades International Classic Music Festival rebounds for the 20th consecutive year, reviving the European music tradition of the 19th century.

Once again, at Syros, the enchanting capital of Cyclades, the classic music enthusiasts will live an ultimate experience thanks to the performances of preeminent Greek musicians and exceptional foreign soloists. The Festival, during which attendees from all over the world will enjoy concerts and masterclasses, accomplishes a major purpose; the dissemination of the art of classic music.

The promotion of cultural identity through such major events plays a key role for the Greek National Tourism Organization’s strategic plan and contributes to the enhancement of tourism. The GNTO vigorously supports arts-based initiatives that serve to build brand for destination Greece, highlighting that our country is a crossroad of history and art.
