Summer Academy

This year, the 5th International Classical Music Festival of Syros proudly introduces a new activity. For the first time-as a pilot project at first- in collaboration with the Aegean University, Summer Academy courses will be offered.

With the debut of this important part of our annual organization, the 5th Classical Music Festival of Cyclades aims to play the role of a medium in dialogue and the exchange of ideas surrounding the art of music, and offers an interesting array of masterclasses.

Violin, cello, contra bass and flute master classes will be offered by the soloists Lars Bjornkjaer, Leo Winland,  Vassilis Papavassileiou and Nikos Nilopoulos respectively,  for graduates of Academies and Conservatories.

The above attempt will help the students get acquainted with internationally established classical musicians.

The seminars will take place at the University (previous 1st High School of Hermoupolis.)
